Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Security Specialist to drive operational excellence, continuous development and improvement of Red Bee Media’s security frameworks. You will also provide specialist security knowledge and advice to the Red Bee Media Security organization, BU’s, Regions and Functions. D

You will develop governance models, process, methods, tools and training to enable the organization to adequately assess security and ensure efficiency of security programs and controls. Analyze; changes to the business environment, corporate audit reports, security assessments, incidents, new threats and vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvements. In the event of failure in protection ensure that failures are; logged, appropriately handled and investigated in a fair and unbiased manner, and Improvements opportunities identified and implemented.

 

Responsibilities:

Provide input to security strategy development and target setting based on own specialist knowledge and intelligence analysis. Deliver support in own area of competence. Translate business needs into security solutions. Lead compliancy to Security Steering documents and Customer’s Security and Privacy requirements

Manage investigations according to the standards needed to meet internal and external requirements on the investigative process. Coordinate and follow up with the line managers that appropriate security controls are effectively and efficiently implemented by the operational teams in their ways of working. Conduct audits of internal business units to ensure compliance to both client security requirements and RBM group standard.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor degree in a related field.
  • A recognized and valid industry certification/accreditation in information security such as CISSP, CISM or CISA. Minimum 5 years of experience working in this kind of role
  • Knowledge of security frameworks (for example, ISO27001, NIST, OWASP, etc.), information security controls, methods and techniques.
  • Knowledge of ITIL best practices
  • Risk Management Skills
  • Project Management Skills

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Good communication skills, both written and spoken and an ability to vocalise the issues and initiatives in a positive manner.
  • A suitably analytical approach, the ability to critically evaluate ideas and information, select relevant data, and identify key trends, issues, problems and solutions.
  • Able to gain commitment and confidence from teams who are not direct reports.
