Job Description

The roles and responsibilities of Local Distribution Management Assistant is to co-ordinate activities related to distribution such as Inventory Management, Warehouse Operations and Distribution Management. This includes the maintenance of IM & validation of LSP WMS. The job holder also functions as coordinator and processor of material requests.

The overall purpose is to ensure an efficient inbound and/or outbound distribution of products to the agreed delivery point.

 

Accountabilities

  • Ensure GR is timely and accurately performed in the system (IM and WMS) upon physical receipt of goods at the warehouse that includes management of Purchase Order Backlog.
  • Ensure OBD/GI is timely and accurately performed in the system (IM and WMS) upon receipt of Material Request, Picking and Packing, and labeling.
  • Ensure that Material Requests are processed within agreed lead-time.
  • Ensure statutory POD document is accessible whenever needed.
  • Maintaining good coordination with supply and project personnel, DSPs and warehouse interfaces on inbound and outbound deliveries.
  • Planning and execution of site deliveries in coordination mainly with Material Planners or project team is needed to secure cost efficiency and high delivery precision.
  • Initiate and communicate improvements in processes or workflows to raise efficiency.
  • Processing of claims reports within the agreed lead-time.
  • Maintain data that is within LDM scope, in required tools like Site Handler.

Job Qualifications

  • Completed Bachelors degree in any field of study
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience 
  • Experience in the field of Telecommunications is an advantage.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Full knowledge of the whole Supply Chain and works with other areas.
  • Experiences and knowledge in customer services.
  • Good knowledge in MS Office applications and SAP system.
