Technical Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are currently looking for a Technical Project Manager in the area of OSS/Network Inventory. The Technical Project Manager must have a big interest in technology to lead a Project Team delivering Projects adhering to scope, schedule & budget. You will be a part of a bigger ADM program that involves application development, enhancement around Ericsson telecom products deployed within OSS space for a Tier I Telecom Service provider. You will work in a diverse team of Developers, Testers & Solution Architects spread across multiple locations in USA & India.


The preferred candidate must have experience in executing Telecom Projects in a Global Delivery set up. This leader must possess extensive Test and Project Management expertise, excellent communication, negotiation and executive reporting skills. The role demands considerable flexibility in quickly adapting to shifting needs inside the Program and is expected to effectively cover a range of responsibilities:


In this Role you will:

  1. Need to lead Project estimation, Customer acceptance & Project Plan development.
  2. Develop an automation roadmap in discussion with the customer.
  3. Plan and execute to deliver the automation (Progression Test, Regression Test, DevSecOps) roadmap.
  4. Put up Executive weekly reports for the Projects to Client & Program Leadership Team.
  5. Arrange & run automation demos, walkthroughs for business clients & internal leaderships.
  6. Need to have deep understanding of managing Test Automation SLAs pro-actively e.g. Cycle Time, Automated Test Execution, Testing Productivity etc.
  7. Identify additional automation and improvement opportunities leading to additional business.
  8. Be required to manage multiple projects at the same time in a matrix structure. Monitor and handle changes, conflicts and critical issues that may impact the Project.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Min years of experience: 5 years of Test and Project management
  • PMP / Prince 2 Certification
  • Experience in MS Project
  • Domain experience: telecom -OSS is preferred
  • Strong skills in Decision making , Driving and Motivating a team
  • Experience delivering Projects in a Global Delivery set up.
  • Excellent Reporting (executive report) , written & verbal communication.
  • Well versed with power point ,MS excel and MS Project.
  • Test Management, Practices , Automation Framework , Visualization tools exposure.
  • SAFe Agilist / Scrum Master Certification.
  • Experience in actively managing the SLA’s & KPIs for project with a deep understanding of the levers to control them.
  • Business Understanding and Analysis Skills.
  • Telecom Industry best practices Insight.

Education: BE/B-Tech or MCA .
