The impact of your role at Ericsson

We are now looking for a E2E Service Expert SI PS/IP,  to drive and support end-to-end multidomain customer projects implementation and transfer into the MS responsibilities, continuous end-to-end service, and automation improvements.

This Job Role is responsible for the overall execution of the new Operation Model, having multi-technology, multivendor knowledge, and end-to-end understanding of the Mobile Networks architectures legacy or Cloud-based.

 

You will also:

  • Enable the creation of a pool of  service level experts within Operate Networks as the focus of business moving from maintaining domain KPIs to enhancing end to end service KPIs for the customers;
  • Through a direct connection with all the PDUs will participate in the tests of the new feature;
  • Propose improvements of the existing features and suggest new ones according to the needs resulted from the day to day operations;
  • Execute local  Strategy Infrastructure Product (SIP) Life Cycle Management  (LCM) activities concerning new or enhanced service and resource deployment according to the detailed design project produced by the Planning and Engineering taking in consideration the specific requirements of Ericsson  Customer when specific product or service knowledge is required;
  • Multi-Technology & Domain expert, using cross-domain and end-to-end view competencies, will take the driver role of the overall automation in customers networks, covering end-to-end tasks, processes, tools;
  • Lead the investigation in case of the multi-domain troubleshooting. It will assure a consistent analysis of all areas, in order to identify the root cause of the degradation of the service;
  • Actively involved in pre-sales, interfacing with new and existing customers.

 

How your expertise will make the difference (Qualifications needed):

 

•3 years’ experience in the service delivery or managed services operations;

•Operate core packet and IP network implementation;

 •Identify and solve defined/undefined problems utilizing existing procedures/techniques/methods;

 •Supervise the core packet switch and IP network implementation technician;

•Prepare and update documentation according to specific requirements;

 •Working experience with TCP/IP, Cisco, Juniper, Smartedge, BIG-IP, Extreme Protocol Stack knowledge (SS7, SIGTRAN) is a plus;

•Delivering results & meeting customer expectation;

 •Knowledge of MSTOP, ITIL and eTOM based processes is considered a plus;

•Familiar with routing protocols, e.g. BGP, OSPF, VRRP, JSRP;

 •Solution knowledge in MPLS, layer2 & layer3 VPN;

•Working knowledge of UNIX and/or LINUX;

•CCNA & CCNP / JNCIA & JNCIP qualifications is a plus;

•Fluent in written and spoken English;

 •Additional language skills a plus.
