2nd Level Operations

Job Description

Date: Apr 14, 2020

Job Summary:
We are now looking for a Second Level Operations Specialist that will be responsible for the coordination, management, execution and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support than offered by the 1st level Operations. This person shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.

Job Description:
Functional escalation point for issues when there is no known work-around or solution available or can't be solved by 1st Level Operations
Provide fault management on specific nodes
Perform preventive corrective maintenance and conditioning tasks on the system to ensure the systems perform within the agreed service levels
Logging and updating the performed activities in specifically ticketing tools
Support for operational process, include Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management and Capacity Management

Job Requirements:
Solid foundation of IP network/Firewall/WAN/LAN/WLAN
5+ years’ experience on IP network and equipment maintenance, such as but not limited to Cisco/Juniper/Huawei firewall, routers, switches.
Good analytical and troubleshooting skills, be able to identify, propose & execute improvement initiatives;
Ability to handle global customer meetings and discussions, and adapt to working with people from different countries with different cultures 

Additional desirable qualifications:
Understanding of virtualization, such as VMware/ESX 
System administration skills with RHEL/CentOS
SAN (Storage Area Network) /NAS (Network Attached Storage) technology
Generally requirements:
Fluent in English(both written and spoken), be able to use English as working language
Proactive working attitude
