Our Exciting Opportunity:

Ericsson Australia is growing! As a result, we are now looking for a NSW Team Lead that will be responsible for performing design, optimization and audit of a network to meet customer requirements. The role focuses on executing design, audit and optimization of services, where the successful candidate will be accountable for part of the solution and of the service process. Hereby, you should be able to keep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report to the National RF Design Lead and Program Director
  • Responsible for driving RF Design deliverables and outcome for NSW Team
  • Achieve RF design delivery within timeframe and budget
  • Internal and external partner management
  • Drive performance improvement in team through engagement and motivation
  • Drive efficiencies in process and automation
  • Conduct workshops with customer, ASPs, SAED managers and present technical solutions
  • Point of contact for technical design queries
  • Ad-hoc activities requested by National RF Design Lead

 

As our ideal candidate You will have:

  • Education: Bachelor or Masters in Telecommunications or equivalent
  • At least 10+ years’ experience in telecommunication operator and/or vendor environment
  • Strong technical understanding and experience in RF Planning, Design, Tuning and Optimisation in WCDMA/LTE/5G networks.
  • Lead team on large scale network modernization projects
  • Strong understanding of design process, EME/ACMA Compliance and Optimization for swap projects
  • Experience in management and resolution of complex design and/or optimization issues
  • Proven experience in establishing relationship and influencing key customers and key partners
  • Demonstrated experience in resolving complex design issues with customer and driving outcomes
  • Experience with RF Link budget and Mentum Planet RF planning tool
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience working and strong understanding with multi-vendor networks
  • Automation and programming/scripting skills (highly regarded)
