Ericsson Network Design & Optimization
Ericsson Network Design & Optimization (NDO) is developing and delivering design and optimization services to our customers (typically mobile network operators) in Japan. Feature and functionality introduction and other types of technology consulting services are also within the scope of our expertise.
When applicable, we conduct the design and optimization by developing and using cutting edge AI/Machine Learning technology, helping our customers automating the optimization of their networks.
NDO Japan is also responsible for supporting network sales through technical consultation, anchored in deep network performance and product insight gained from advanced network analysis.
NDO Japan is aiming to be self-sustained in the sense that technical (pre-) sales support is integrated in the service delivery team, working in close cooperation with relevant customer accounts.
As a Network Engineer-NE (or Solution Architect-SA) in the Network Performance team of NDO Japan you will focus on our live-network or pre-launch trial-based performance analysis/evaluation of our product, features and functionality.
The objectives are twofold. First to ensure that our products are utilized in the best possible way considering our customers objectives and specific network scenario, and secondly, we can detect gaps in our functionality that is relevant and valuable for our customers.
Throughout this work it is important that the best possible performance is recognized by our customers and that any potential gap between our functionality and the need of our customers are highlighted, specified and benefit quantified in collaboration with our product solution and development teams.
Since the mentioned objectives are overlapped with network design and optimization activities (services) it is expected that objectives to a large extent can be achieved though NDO service delivery activities.
Hence, this NE role requires a seniority level that allow for achieving the above objectives in parallel to the NDO project delivery objectives.
