The work consists of developing a validation framework, performing electrical validation measurements and supporting product integration. There is a need to define and develop a reusable validation framework that will exercise ASIC devices under validation, control test instrument, collect measurements and generate automated reports. In order to prepare for the arrival of a new ASIC device test script and programs, based on generic and previous generation classes, need to be extended and customized, test boards need to be specified and designed and a validation plan need to be specified.
Dry runs and test preparation might be performed using virtual or emulation platforms.
