Our exciting opportunity:

Ericsson operates five Field Training Centers of Excellence in the United States to train telecom crews and tower climbers. The recently opened Lewisville Center of Excellence is one of them. At just over 26,000 square feet, this facility provides best-in-class field services training and support for Ericsson employees and partners. Trainees learn the skills needed to support Ericsson’s customers, as well as to roll out and maintain the systems that will bring 5G to the U.S. and Canada.

 

We are now looking for a field services training & operations expert to lead these Centers of Excellence and to deliver industry leading education and certification programs that ensure the highest level of safety and customer satisfaction.

 

You will:

  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining the Ericsson Field Services and Service Provider training curriculum for all Field Tower and Ground related activities.
  • Support the EH&S, National and Regional project teams with competence development and training that align with the overall Build and Operate delivery processes, models, and strategies.
  • Manage the onboarding program & curriculum for new tower climbers.
  • Own the CMS North America website content for all internal training curriculum and reports.
  • Coordinate the activities at all COE facilities for training, customer meetings, and special events.
  • Showcase facilities and programs to a wide variety internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage and develop a team of training developers, trainers and COE managers.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in such areas as EH&S, Strategic Partnering, and Business Development.
  • Maintain active membership and maximize opportunities with the Construction Managers Association of America representing Ericsson.
  • Manage a $5Million budget and five locations.

 

You have:

  • 10 + years running very large corporate field services training programs to include multi-site, safety and equipment certification programs.
  • A passion for educating & the ability to motivate others to do the same
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Financial acumen
  • Thrived in a fast paced, dynamic and innovative work environment
  • A bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience, MBA is a preference
