Our exciting opportunity:
As a part of establishing a Smart Factory within the U.S., we are now looking for a Shift Leader leader to build up and lead the Production team. Key aspects of the role are to lead production-related activities to ensure production output meets customer demands. The chosen candidate will manage all production personnel during the shift as well as production steps including SMA, Final Assembly, Test, Packing, and Repair/Troubleshooting. Production activities include both volume production and new product introduction.
— Secure production output in order to meet customer demand
— Manage all production processes and personnel in the most efficient way possible
— Swiftly address production yield and other quality-related issues
— Support NPI projects from the successful introduction of new products to design phase to volume production
— Establish a strong network across various Ericsson organizations such a Supply, R&D, Sourcing, Finance, and other Ericsson production sites to drive E2E cross-functional improvements of the business
— Recruit, lead, and develop the personnel in the department
— Continuously develop and improve the operations through analysis of KPIs and other performance data
To be successful in the role, you must have:
— Strong managerial skills and proven leadership ability
— Positive conflict and change management skills
— Be a self-starter and able to effectively work in a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment
— Experience with building an organization from the ground up is a plus
— Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
— Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering or relevant area
— Minimum of 3 years’ experience in logistics and manufacturing
