You will be part of a self-organized team.
In summary, you will work for Madrid R&D site to develop 5G mobile system core products. You will become an R&D engineer as part of the R&D Ericsson global development community.
What are we looking for?
A high potential software developer with strong developer with proven experience in developing and contribute on Apache Geode or Pivotal Gemfire, experience in Cloud native software stacks and execution environments (Kubernetes, Dockers); and proficient in programming of open-platform, real-time and high-availability system, as well as scripting. (JAVA , C++ and python).
Familiar with Apache Geode functionalities and architecture
Able to Identify troubleshoot and solve Apache Geode issues that impacts us, and from the public product backlog.
Able to contribute to the Apache Geode mailing lists and get involved in the community.
Became a point of contact when someone inside our company needs to clarify any aspect about the product
What are the main competences?
Experience in developing and contribute on Apache Geode or Pivotal Gemfire
Experience with programming languages in real projects: Java, C++, Python, scripting, …
Experience in Cloud native software stacks and execution environments (Kubernetes, Dockers)
Strong development practices including code reviews, unit testing and regression testing
Knowledge of database concepts: SQL and no-SQL (Geode, Cassandra)
High availability concepts/ techniques (replication, leadership election, active/standby)
TCP/IP Networking and evolution transport protocols (like QUIC), data networks and IP-based applications (HTTP, HTTPS, ..).
Capacity to investigate and debug complex issues. Including performance tuning experience, troubleshooting, core dump analysis, …
Proactive and self-sufficient.
Knowledge in operating system architectures and capacity to model scalable designs and solutions
Knowledge in Mobile network architecture 4G/5G. Interfaces, protocols, functions.
Knowledge in real time data analytics algorithms.
Willing to share knowledge and learn (curious!!)
Good communication skills and open personality
Fluent in English
