Our department, PDG Solutions, is developing products and solution for the Ericsson Cloud Core – one cloud packet core for all accesses and services, with dual-mode operations, 4G and 5G. We develop and deliver e.g. Massive IOT, Mobile Broadband, Enterprise Core, Communication Packet core, etc. What we do is a vital part of the accelerating digital transformation building our networked society where everything that can be connected will be connected. We are also involved in the development and integration & verification of Continuous Delivery & Deployment (CD&D).
BA Digital Services

Ongoing digitalization, together with virtualization and the introduction of 5G is driving new opportunities for service providers. It gives possibilities to capitalize on the investments better by programming and slicing 4G and 5G networks for specific consumer and industry needs. It also gives possibilities to automate operations and become radically more efficient, and to serve and engage with customers digitally.
We want you who have some years of experience as Software developer, someone with a keen interest in Python scripting. You have an eye for SW architecture and can identify need for restructuring and refactoring of our scripts. You understand the importance of speed, quality and keeping customer commitments. You have high energy levels, are willing to learn new tasks and you are a team player who enjoys sharing your knowledge and skills with your colleagues.
You will be involved in the development of a wide range of innovative products and solutions with the latest virtual and cloud technologies.
You will be working with implementation of virtual network functions (VNF) on multiple cloud-based deployments, primarily using Python.
