We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team, to help build the state of the art Smart Manufacturing in the U.S.A. As an data scientist, you would have a deep knowledge of data machine learning and analytics solutions. Work to understand the movement, collect insights, map business requirements, coordinate the enhancement, plan the integration and availability of data throughout the organization.
Our Exciting Opportunity:
— In June 2019, Ericsson announced its intention to build a state-of-the-art 5G Smart Factory that will produce 5G and Advanced Antenna System radios to boost network capacity and coverage to meet the demand for rapid 5G deployments in North America.
— The Smart Factory will be the first greenfield 5G factory in the US and will serve as a showcase for the next generation technology that will shape future ways of working.
— Ericsson’s 5G industrial solutions include automated warehouses, connected logistics, automated assembly, packing and product handling, and the use of autonomous carts.

— You will design, develop and implement scalable, repeatable data pipelines, from data exploration, data modeling, sampling, training data generation, model building and performance evaluation
— You’ll collaborate with business leaders, industrial & cloud based system architectures and industry stakeholders to create success criteria and optimize models and products
— You’ll carry out pre-studies for any and/or updates of systems and applications; as well recommend and introduce new technologies and software platforms
To be succeessful in the role, you must have:
— 3-5+ years of experience in industry data science (e.g., machine learning, predictive maintenance, high performance algorithms)
— Master’s or PhD Degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related quantitative discipline
— Deep knowledge in data modeling and demonstrate experience in architecting distributed systems, using different data structures and open source tools to collect, parse, manage and visualize large sets of data.
— Experience in object oriented design & Agile or other rapid development methods
— Experience in big data technologies and framework: Python, C#, R, Splunk, Spark, Hadoop, Yarn, Scala, Java, Cloud Technology
— Be responsible for architecture design, implementation, document the findings and experiments of the data analysis and collaborate with development team to industrize the findings, and benchmarking against industry standards for your deliverables
— Innovating, adapting and responding to change
— Have outstanding communication and high-energy attitude to influence the team
— Deep knowledge in probability & statistics
You might also have:
— Knowledge about IIoT security aspects
— Develop standards and automated process for managing data availability
— Knoweldge of databases, MySQL, MongoDB, postgreDB or CosmosDB.
— Familiar with industrial robots, controllers and real-time control network
