Position Summary

As an antenna calibration Function System Developer, you will drive and attend early phase and development of antenna calibration and beamforming algorithm for Ericsson 5G RBS products, main activities will be antenna calibration function systemization, HW and SW solution analysis and documentation.

 

 

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Define the function architecture and solution for Massive-MIMO radio antenna calibration
  • Drive and participate Massive-MIMO radio antenna calibration algorithm study, link-budget, implementation and related problem investigation
  • Analyze the different antenna calibration solutions impact on Radio HW, SW and baseband
  • Analyze 5G Radio function impact to RAN feature
  • Define and Document Radio antenna calibration function description as input to radio software design

 

Position Qualifications

  • BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • At least 5 years of experience working with Radio base station as function/SW system
  • Experience of Massive MIMO Base Station beamforming algorithm architecture, simulation and implementation
  • Experience of Massive MIMO Radio antenna calibration algorithm, SW and HW implementation
  • Knowledge on 5G radio TX and RX function such as gain control, time delay control, and VSWR etc.
  • Knowledge on 5G radio HW architecture, TX and RX signal chain
  • Problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
