Strategic Product Manager
The mission and scope of Group Function Technology unit Develop Practice is to Develop, Manage, Maintain and Improve capabilities, processes, information and data within the group-wide functional areas Product Management and Product Development.
This is to provide efficiency, effectiveness and quality in how we work within product management and product development as One Ericsson.
Develop and Improve is provided through the Ericsson Development strategy and Roadmaps in cooperation with the Business Areas and other Group Function Technology units using input from industry and academia practices.
Manage and Maintain is provided through the Product Lifecycle Management with its Areas of Regulation, Product Development principles and Anatomy of Excellent Development.
We drive change programs and provide global expertise for development of Software, Hardware, Service, Information and Commercial products and Solutions.

We now aim to extend our team in the areas Processes, Capabilities and Data on group level for Product Management and Product Development to further align and strengthen the company as One Ericsson. For the Data part it is the Information Steward role in information management for Product Management and Product Development working in close cooperation with the PLM organization in DNEW and with the Data Transformation Office in BMAS. The person on this role will work in close cooperation with the owners of Product Management and Product Development in the unit.
• Responsible to drive the top-level alignment of capabilities & processes for Product Management and Product Development cross the Business Areas
• Responsible to align Product Management and Product Development capabilities and processes with interfacing FA’s (e.g. Supply, Sourcing, Marketing & Communications, …)
• Information steward for Product Management and Product Development with responsibility for their architecture, lifecycle, security classification and data usage approval
• Support information architects when developing capabilities, process flows, process components and IOG’s in ARIS or equivalent
• Establish cross-functional teams as seen relevant and necessary to align cross any functional or organizational boarder
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
• Education: BSc or Equivalent
• 10+ years of work experience within Product Management & Product Development
• Hands on experience in process and information management like in Operational Development (OD) roles
• Good understanding of information architectures
• Good understanding of enterprise business processes and tools in PLM, ERP and CRM
• Ability to work cross different cultures and ways of working to identify and spread best practices
• Willingness to learn new skills, competencies and new areas
• A good team worker
• Good verbal, written English and interpersonal skills
