Job Summary:

As a Lead DevOps Engineer supporting the Git/Gerrit/CI/CD/Jenkins Tools and Maintenance, you will function as a technical team leader, as an individual contributor developing, and as an evangelist in driving the use of tools and services within Product Operations.

 

Job Requirements 

- A strong understanding of engineering tools (CI/CD/Build/Jenkins) relating to software development

- Excellent in influencing tools adoption with technical and people leadership skills

- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies

- Excellent oral and written communication to peers, product teams, management, and occasionally customers

- Guidance and mentorship to other engineers

- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams

- Demonstrated ability to execute on long-range team and individual projects

 

Essential Skills:

- Excellent technical team leader and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment

- Experience in developing complex applications or highly-scalable solutions end-to-end in SDLC

- Experience in Git & Gerrit SCM tools integrating with CI & CD

- Passion for quality and good software engineering practices

- UNIX, Perl/Python, Groovy

- Good programming skills in Java/C/C++ is added advantage

- Puppet, Ansible, GIT, Perforce, bit bucket

- Dockers, Kubernetes

- Kafka, RabbitMQ, Google PubSub

- ELK stack,.

- CI/CD – Jenkins, sonar, spinnaker pipelines
