Job Description

Location:  Lewisville, Texas


Our Smart Manufacting team is looking for a Product Engineer to develop, implement and maintain cost efficient, ergonomic and safe production, claims and repair processes, equipment and tools according to production rules.

 

Our Exciting Opportunity:
— Participate in the start-up of a brand new smart factory producing 5G radio network products
— As part of this role you will interact with 5G product design engineers
— You get to work with best in class local and global teams
— You will be the product expert and train other engineers and technicians

 

You Have:
— Bachelor’s Degree in electrical engineering or similar technical field
— 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing with troubleshooting and repair of electronics
— Comprehensive understanding of electronic circuits and electrical schematics in order to guide troubleshooting of failed product
— Proficient with operation of RF measurement instruments such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzer, mulit-meters (DMM) and ocilloscope
— Understanding of telecommunication systems
— Proven experience with monitoring manufacturing KPIs such as Yield, Cp/Cpk
— Performed root cause analysis and product defect identification
— Good English both spoken and written
— Initially this position requires some extended oversees travel for training in one of Ericsson’s manufacturing facilities. After the training period there will be 10% travel requirement

 

You might also have:
— Basic coding skills (Python scripting, working with Rasp Pi / Arduino, etc)
— Understanding Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis concepts
— Six Sigma Yellow Belt
— Previous experience working with global teams
