Job Summary:

We are now looking for an Account Manager to secure short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development based on fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations and objectives. Actively manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end to end solutions allowing seamless transition from sales to operations. Develop both internal and external relation/s in order to actively contribute to making customers and Ericsson successful. This job role could be focused on selling a specific part of the portfolio, a specific part of the customer’s business/technology area and/or geography.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Secure short-term and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive business development based on fundamental understanding of the customers’ business, operations and objectives
  • Actively manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver efficient and effective end to end solutions allowing seamless transition from sales to operations
  • Develop both internal and external relations in order to actively contribute to making customers and Ericsson successful
  • Focused on selling a specific part of the portfolio, a specific part of the customer’s business/technology area and/or geography
  • Maximize customer relationships and loyalty.
  • Create sales opportunities that will generate profitability sales.
  • Optimization of the account team’s performance and enable seamless transition to operations

Key Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Science or similar
  • Working experience: Min 5 years of experience of relationship sales and 5 years from the ICT industry
  • Domain experience: Supply area of expertise – e.g.: 5G wireless etc.
  • Consultative selling skills and commercial understanding
  • Customer and market insight as well as negotiation skills

Leadership, Sales/Customer

  • Results-oriented (excelling execution) – Track record of consistently delivering superior business results; decisive and clear thinking
  • Customer obsession (customer excellence) – Customer needs to trust the position holder who acts with (passion and integrity) as a strong advocate for the customer inside Ericsson, and for Ericsson towards the Customer
  • Recommend and develop sales strategies based on customer ambitions, organizational strategy, market research and competitor analyses
  • Flexibility in negotiation style and strong judgement on the right “battles to fight”

Functional/ Technical

  • Ensure communications are coordinated, supports sales plan objectives and meets organizational expenditure requirements
  • Thought leadership and technology knowledge in Network area
