Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Software Developer that will contribute to the creation of customer solutions.  As a Software Developer, you will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle; working towards properly engineered information systems, containing software as the major component, to meet agreed business requirements.

You are responsible for ensuring that the delivered software components provide the necessary functionality and perform in accordance to the overall requirements as well as to the customer’s expectations.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  •  Estimating and developing new requirements and analyzing their influence on the system;

  • Implementing designed requirements into the application (at each stage of the project);

  • Cooperation in the team (contact with SD, testers, team leads, a project manager);

  • Troubleshooting and fixing current bugs in the system;

  • Working with technologies as: Java (JDBC, hibernate/JPA, struts 1 & 2, Spring,  web services,  EJB,  JSP,  JSF 1.2), AngularJS, Oracle (SQL + procedures), .NET (C#);

  • Adjusting solutions to the valuation of requirements;

  • Meeting the deadlines given by the Project Manager and project;

 

Requirements:

  • Master degree in a quantitative discipline (applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, operations research, or related field);

  • At least 2 years commercial experience with web application development using J2EE;

  • Strong java language programming skills;

  • Very good knowledge of design patterns and good practices;

  • Experience with Struts 1.1 framework, JSF 1.x, 2.x and WebServices (Axis 1.x) with java 1.8;

  • Understanding security aspects of web application;

  • Very good documentation and communication skills;

  • Excellent oral and written skills in English with ability to explain complex concepts clearly to a variety of stakeholders;

  • Strong collaboration and consultative skills with high level of creativity;

 

 Nice to have:

  • Struts 2,

  • Hibernate,

  • JUnit,

  • Spring,

  • EJB,

  • AngularJS,

  • .Net.
