Graduate Implementation Manager - Radio Network Services

Job Summary:

We are now looking for a graduate Implementation Manager, to manage the delivery of the customer requirements within the scope of the contract, namely the integration, performance reporting and site initial tuning service layers. These service layers are delivered as part of the overall telecommunication network rollout project. Acting as part of an overall network rollout project team, the implementation manager will work toward the project management team to ensure the focused delivery of each Ericsson service layer. The post holder will be expected to monitor progress daily, identifying obstacles and bottlenecks to progress, take timely corrective actions or escalate where necessary. The role is based in Dublin and is part of the Networks and Digital Services PMO team in Customer Unit UK & Ireland. Job Responsibilities:  

  • Support the Ericsson Project Manager with governance, reporting and general requirements associated with the project and senior level requests.
  • Manage site roll-out with a focus on certain area’s/clusters.
  • Manage sub-contractors working for Ericsson in Network Roll-Out ensuring sub-contractor is on the track with agreed rollout plan. This includes managing Site Survey and Rollout, new equipment logistics, site access.
  • Ensure that the implementation work is in accordance with Ericsson procedures, local laws, regulation and with respect to customer’s directives.
  • Monitoring and Control of implementation spend in alignment with budget.
  • Complete awareness of the latest current reported status from the Approved Service Providers (ASPs) in the field.
  • Governance of the Ericsson sub-contracted ASP re: their strict compliance and adherence to their contracted scope of work.
  • Assign priorities to the ASP and Integration team to focus and drive delivery each and every day.
  • Monitoring, driving and realisation of daily, weekly and monthly delivery run rates and requirements to the customer business as per the Ericsson contracted commitments.
  • Identification, mitigation, reporting along with the management and control of risks to the program plans.
  • Responsible to provide leadership, command and control and direction to team.
  • Trigger purchase orders and invoice follow-up for implementation work.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Education: University degree or equivalent
  • Up to 2 years of project management experience in customer facing roles

  • Demonstrate ability to interact and influence people successfully.
  • Able to work in a demanding environment and balance workloads between the larger teams. 
  • Highly organised with an attention to detail.
  • Evidence of ongoing self-development required
