Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to strengthen Ericsson’s competitive position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks and contributing to the creation of value for the Customer. 

The SSM is accountable for evaluating, qualifying and selecting suppliers for the external purchase and licensing of all products and services: 1) to be delivered to Customers as part of or as an Ericsson product or service and 2) for internal use within Ericsson.

The SSM and/or the Supplier Relationship Manager are responsible for all commercial relationship with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and align local Network Services Delivery and Managed Services strategy with Market Area Category strategy
  • Drive RFx activities, supplier analysis, evaluation, negotiation and selection for assigned project
  • Identify business and legal risk regarding supplier in assigned project
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with suppliers
  • Establish business intelligence and drive knowledge sharing, constantly seeking how Sourcing can value add/contribute to business growth.
  • Negotiate and finalize agreements with suppliers
  • Implement supplier governance and ensure supplier’s contractual and performance obligations
  • Communicate supplier agreement to concern parties for agreement implementation
  • Update preferred supplier list and benchmarking and contribute to market intelligence activities
  • Update all required reporting and database systems e.g., vender master database, spend and saving report, etc

Key Qualifications:

  • A minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years working experiences in Telecom or IT industry and in sourcing or procurement management or related field are preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience and relevant skills in the business management and negotiating commercial and legal agreements
  • Excellent skills and experience in relationship management with internal customers and suppliers.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills, including both Thai and English
  • An ability to work independently and to meet time and budgetary targets
  • Willing to learn new things and work under dynamic environments
