  3. Job Summary:

    In this role you will be responsible for working on Evolved Packet Core (SGSN-MME, Evolved Packet Gateway, Network Integrated Wi-Fi, Service-Aware Policy Controller, Wi-Fi Mobility Gateway) across the Telco Cloud (and often wider Telco Core & Cloud (TCC) Portfolio). You will have specific expertise to manage the onboarding, integration, troubleshooting and testing of Packet Core VNFs into a customer NFVi environment.

    While this is undoubtedly a highly technical role, the position requires that you will have the soft skills required to influence the customer, and virtual teams including the ability to demonstrate behaviours relating to leadership, self-awareness, self-regulation, social skills, empathy, and motivation.

     

  4. In addition, you will be responsible for leading the integration team (on and off-shore) and participation in the following:

  5. HW installs, expansions or reconfigurations

  6. SW installation and upgrades

  7. Configuration preparation based on LLD

  8. Integration, Migration, Integration testing and Troubleshooting

  9. MOP preparation

  10. Input/review of services costing and Progress Reporting

  11.  

    Position Qualifications: Core Competences:

     

  12. Deep knowledge and experience in implementation and troubleshooting of EPC VNFs.

  13. Deep knowledge and experience in implementation and troubleshooting of EPC E2E.

  14. Extensive experience and expertise of onboarding and troubleshooting Telco VNFs onto an Openstack environment

  15. Strong practical knowledge of Linux

  16. Extensive Telco Industry understanding and experience

    Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  18. Bachelors degree in Engineering, Electronics, IT or equivalent.

  19. Relevant (minimum 5 years) experience in delivery.
