Our Exciting Opportunity:

We are now looking for an Integration Engineer with LTE/4G experience to support exciting new opportunities with an Australian Telco operator. Your scope of work could include the scenarios of introduction, upgrade expansion, functionality and capacity. You will also have an understanding for 5G Core concepts, if not lab or field 5G experience.

In this role, you will work closely with the Project Team, including Solution Architects, to ensure the successful integration of remote sites. You will work alongside Ericsson staff and third-party contractors to troubleshoot, test new hardware and solutions, and be involved with demonstrations of new 5G products to senior customer stakeholders.

 

About You:

You will have a strong background in LTE/4G deployment, ideally combined with 5G and/or transmission knowledge, and experience with testing and creating object lists.  You will have strong communication skills and be confident presenting to a range of internal and external, technical and non-technical stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan the implementation of the product configuration / integration work
  • Execute product configuration, integration and migration work
  • Prepare and execute system tests, module tests and acceptance tests
  • Troubleshooting of technical problems
  • Execute post project completion activities
  • End-to-end technical understanding
  • Support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies

 

Key Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years’ experience of deploying system tests and working in a test team
  • Domain experience: RAN, LTE, Transmission and 5G (highly desirable)
  • Excellent communication and reporting skills
  • Ability to function well and collaborate as part of a diverse team
  • Creative & innovative thinking to troubleshoot with cutting edge technology
  • Delivering results & meeting customer expectations
  • Excellent planning and organizing skills

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Knowledge of scripting languages
  • Previous experience of Ericsson management/information systems – ENM (Ericsson Network Manager), OSS
