The role is an Architect to build up and support our environment in Ericsson to Cloud (E2C). You will have the ability to build principles, models and guidelines from strategies. You will convert requirements to develop cost efficient solutions that are consistent between business, information and technology. You will, also interact with internal stakeholders to define and provide solutions optimizing their developing performance. Although this position is based in Gothenburg - Sweden, please note that this role has global responsibility. You are expected to contribute by working in an exciting and dynamic global teams, providing different aspects of ICT service delivery.
You as an architect will have broad responsibilities. You will be directly involved in delivering ICT services to internal customers. As a senior resource you will also lead projects, drive business opportunities, innovations, mentor and support more junior staff and participate in the running and development of the Ericsson PDG services business. This is a role for someone who has already achieved a level of excellence as a technical engineer and is now ready to move to a more leadership and business driven position in a global environment. In short term, you will be key competence in our effort to modernize our current ICT environment.
Responsible for the Engineering environment service and resource specific coordination, management, execution & managing the projects of the following activities:
•Service & Resource; long & medium term planning & design, as part of the Infrastructure. Ensure the best cost effective design and the consistency of the service & resource.
•Short term planning, service & resource engineering, responsible for the detailed design of new or enhanced services or resources, supporting the deployment of the solution & ensuring that it meets internal customer requirements
•Post-incident analysis as part of the Problem Management process & for approving any change that affects the network and service topology.
•Education: MA/BA of the relevant area
•Minimum years of experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a related role.
•IT processes, tools and infrastructure knowledge
•Ericsson Cloud Execution Environment , Cloud Native, VM
•Analytical & task oriented
•Able to move away from the technical comfort zone (App. experience will force people to think in new ways and enter areas maybe outside of the technical expertise)
•Domain experience: Packet core, IP Infrastructure Knowledge, networking
•Problem Solving & strategic thinking
•Knowledge sharing and collaboration skills
