Ericsson is hiring a Solution Architect to join our Group Analytics team in Plano, TX
Reporting to the Head of Group Analytics, North America; the Solution Architect role is an exciting opportunity to work closely with software and development teams to realize the vision and execute the data strategy for our customers in Market Area North America region.
You’ll build principles, models and guidelines based on business strategy and needs. The person in this role will have the opportunity to serve as a consultant in many areas of Group IT by staying in tune with the changing needs of the customer and offering solutions.

- Analyzed customer strategy and then broken it down into actionable architectural capabilities
- Translated business requirements into a cost-efficient solution architecture
- Been responsible for architecture compliance throughout the complete solution lifecycle
- Successfully consulted, communicated and co-operated with a variety of business unit groups
- Melded existing data architecture with new ones as technology emerges
Do you have:
- Bachelors in Computer Engineering/ Computer science, Masters is a plus
- Min years of experience 7-10 years with:
- Data Modeling
- Data Architecture
- SQL, Relational database
- Tableau, Power BI, SAP-Business Objects (BOBJ)
- SAP- APS, HANA, and Hadoop
- Data Integration tools: SSIS, SAP-BODS, IS
- Expertise in SQL and the ability to design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts
- Familiarity with data visualization tools
- In-depth understanding of database concepts and principles
- Proven analytical skills and problem-solving attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques for data modeling and management
- Ability to ensure the protection of data from unauthorized persons
