Job Summary
We are looking for software engineering to strengthen the core development capacity of the Ericsson Mobile Wallet platform. You will be part of a growing and dynamic development organization that will develop new features and work on improving the current architecture.

You will work on developing solutions that improve the lives of our more than 200 million daily users in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. By building our financial platform you will help to bring financial freedom to many people around the World.


Unit Description
Ericsson Digital Services helps service providers prosper in the digital economy. From enhancing the way service providers engage with their customers to automating operations, we're helping service providers reach new levels of programmability, access and agility – levels that digital natives call home. We provide solutions consisting of software and services in the areas of Digital Business Support Systems (BSS), Operational Support Systems (OSS), Cloud Communication, Cloud Core, and Cloud Infrastructure. The portfolio is focused on 5G-ready, cloud-native, automated and industrialized solutions to secure a smooth digitalization journey towards 5G.

What you will work on
You will work with software development by converting incoming business requirements from product management into a state of the art financial- and wallet platform. You will as a software developer work in all phases of the product's life cycle, including design, implementation, verification, maintenance and operations of our products. Our ways of working are based on agile DevOps principles, where Continuous Integration is a cornerstone in our development methodology. Working with Continues Improvement and product maintenance is also part of the role.

We are looking for an agile Software Developer with a genuine interest in technology and programming that enjoys working in teams. The successful candidate has strong skills in programming, designing distributed computing algorithms and systems, real-time transaction processing and high availability design. You want to be the best in your area of expertise but you are also curious to understand the big picture. You strive to meet targets and the highest standards of quality and have the ability to analyze and solve problems.

What competencies you will need

You enjoy working in teams with an exceptional track record of innovation and people skills with the ability to work in a multinational and cross-functional team set-up. Additional we believe the candidate has exceptional analytical and communication skills, with excellent skills in oral and written English. Swedish language skills are an advantage.
We see that you have a Master’s or Bachelor´s Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science.
You have strong object-oriented Java programming skills.
You have experience in Software development environment and tools like Git/Gerrit, Jenkins etc.
You embrace Lean & Agile principles and like to work in a flexible team environment.
We see you that show inter-personal skills, are flexible and willing to adapt & respond to change.
We see you being creative and like to find new ideas and solutions and that you have a positive and inspiring approach and mindset in your everyday work.
We work in a global environment which means English skills are a must, and a second additional language is meriting.
