Business and Systems Consultant

Job Description

We are now looking for a Business and Systems Consultant/ Product Owner who will be responsible for gathering business requirements in the Supply Chain Management area and mapping them to the system/technical solutions. The purpose of this role within IT tools development is to cooperate with business stakeholders to understand their strategies and needs, identify improvement opportunities by utilizing technologies, analyzing and designing the solutions and driving their delivery.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Co-operate with customers/ stakeholders on the global level and understand their business needs 
  • Scope, define and design solution proposals based on customer requirements; drive business and technical solutions 
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, innovations, automation
  • Produce functional design documentation
  • Provide guidance and support in developing and testing the solutions
  • Manage stakeholders and their expectations
  • Support product owners to drive continuous improvements of products and processes
  • Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about the solution to enable competence build
  • Provide best practices as part of functional designing

 

Requiements:

  • Education:  Academic degree (Computer Science, Business)
  • 3+ years of experience in designing of IT solutions basing on business requirements, preferably in spare parts management, reverse logistics or general supply chain management area
  • Strong understanding of business analysis, application management and technology delivery in an Agile model 
  • Process analysis experience, knowledge of BPMN
  • Strong business and system acumen as well as customer service orientation
  • Ability to influence and coordinate multiple stakeholders on the global level
  • Can do attitude, focus on execution and ability to drive others
  • Strong analytical mind, ability to identify improvement opportunities and beneficial usage of new technologies
  • SQL knowledge will be an additional benefit
  • Great spoken and written English
  • Good communication and team working skills
