As a Senior Specialist – Optimization (Operations we are looking for future leaders with Entrepreneurial & Service mindset to influence and deliver results.

 

Job Summary:

 

As the Senior Specialist – Optimization (Operations), The Core specialist is typically assigned to work for Performance improvement related delivery activities in a managed services operations organization for the changes happening in the CORE network

 

You will:

 

  • Ericsson/Nokia CS Core & IMS nodes Troubleshooting/Config understanding
  • In-depth understanding of GSM/WCDMA/LTE
  • Basic understanding of Core performance KPI’s like PDP SR/ASR/PSR/TAU-SR/SCR/LUSR/Call congestion
  • In-depth understanding of CS Core & IMS nodes KPI troubleshooting & trace analysis
  • Product knowledge of Ericsson, Huawei, Tekelec, NOKIA Systems. (SCSCF, MTAS, VLAYER, GLAYER, HLR, DRA, STP etc.)
  • Configuration and troubleshooting experience of Huawei/Nokia/Ericsson/Tekelec Network elements will be add-on.
  • Knowledge of VOLTE/IMS related configuration in MSS Nodes.
  • Configuration and troubleshooting experience of Huawei Network elements like USN9810 and UGW9811
  • Understanding of Gb, Gr, Gi, Gn, IUPS, Gx, Gy, Gz, S1, S6a, S11, SGs, S10 , Gi configuration & integration.
  • Knowledge of VOLTE/IMS related configuration in IMS Nodes
  • ICR Understating and experience will be required at ERICSSON/NOKIA/HUAWEI/Tekelec nodes.

 

 

 

To be successful in this role, you must have:

 

  • In depth knowledge of Huawei, Ericsson, Nokia nodes minimum 2 vendors.
  • Understanding of SS7, SIGTRAN, DIAMETER, SIP Signaling.
  • Should be well versed with important PS & CS related KPIs, their analysis & improvement plans.
  • Good understanding of Service Awareness and charging related concepts.
  • To participate in technical discussion in view to improve performance and make recommendation wherever possible
  • Good knowledge of service performance indicators and their interpretation
  • Interpersonal skills: must be able to demonstrate good oral and written communication. Ability to listen to others and exchange information and knowledge clearly and concisely
  • Team working: must be able to work closely with the NPI/ project/Circle planning team and other internal departments
  • Good understanding of Telecom Networks specially in 2G/3G/4G/IMS CORE domain
  • Hands on experience on CS & IMS nodes (MSC / GMSC / MGW / SCSCF / MTAS etc..)
  • Knowledge and experience of GSM/WCDMA/LTE/VoLTE

 

 

Key Qualifications:

 

Education: Graduate in Computer Science or similar

 

Minimum years of relevant experience: Min 12 years of relevant work experience.
