Job Summary:

 

As the Second Level Operations Specialist, you will take ownership for the coordination, management, execution and reactive maintenance activities that require a higher level of support than offered by the 1st level Operations. This person shall ensure that the services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance levels.

 

You will:

 

  • 10-15 years’ experience in RAN Troubleshooting and Configuration.
  • Network Level changes like Sites Migration (2G/3G/4G), Iucs/Iups/Iur/SGSN Migrations, Site Integration, Swaps, Scripts creation, Radio parameter changes.
  • Troubleshooting skills involving different domain in the Network and troubleshooting at Node level (2G/3G/4G).
  • Knowledge which includes Call flow of 2G/3G/4G and can understands protocols at different layer
  • Excellent understanding of ERICSSON: BSC, RNC, E-NodeB (EVO, 8100, 8230, 8300, RBS 6000, Baseband, SIU) , for Nokia GSM/ WCDMA/LTE systems (BSC3i, Flexi BSC, mcBSC, RNC2600, mcRNC), OMS, IOMS, Megamonn, TP5000) GSM/WCDMA/LTE. For HUAWEI: BSC6900 BSC 6910 BTS3900 GSM/WCDMA/LTE. For ZTE: ZXUR900 BSC, V4 -RNC(Controller),E-nodeB (BS8800,BS8900,BS8912,BS8822,Baseband). Preferable if having multi vendor expertise.
  • General understanding of AXE, DX200, multi controller, VOLTE platform Traffic cases and Mobile Traffic cases. For complimentary products, broad knowledge of Unix operating system is essential.
    • Handling service degradation issues like Customer complaints increase- cross domain interaction (BO- Core/RAN/MPBN, Circle Core & RAN/Tx NPI etc.)
           • New feature/functionality understanding & handover from OEMs and ramp-up of MS teams. This     will be an     additional layer to assess impact E2E analysis during FNI process along with OEM, BO & SRF,   Design & Circle team.
  • New initiatives on User Experience- like EPC Signaling intensity framework, MCA Cell wise, VoLTE experience etc.
  • Understanding of any specific Audit requirement- Solution preparation and inputs to Automation team for industrialization.
     

 

To be successful in this role, you must have:

 

  • Training and awareness of relevant OHS statutory requirements impacting Ericsson in the local market
  • Technical and operative coordination of resources or project management and services management with medium complexity
  • Support commercial roles in estimating time / cost for the customer offering
  • Proven ability to manage costs and Efficiently knowledge of the IT market benchmark resource profile
  •  Inquisitive and keen problem shooting approach-
  • Sense of ownership & drive
  • Self triggered individuals
  • Domain mix initial to aligned grooming. Eg. PS to VoLTE, 4G RAN to VoLTE RAN/Core etc.
  • Engagement
  • Open to travel
  • Tracing, KPIs and their correlation analysis independently including RAN

 

Key Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) or  
  • 10-15 years’ experience
