Web Content Operations Manager

Our team needs to fill the role of a Web Content Operations Manager to work across the global marketing and communications organization. This role reports directly to Head of News Desk at Group Function Marketing & Corporate Relations and provides support to the entire community, a group of more than 300 specialists.
The Web Content Operations Manager is overall responsible for activating the content strategy and guiding principles throughout the web content community, to support our content wanted position. The role also contributes to the strategic work concerning content in the full marketing and communications web ecosystem at Ericsson.
The main responsibility is to ensure that content design, information architecture and hierarchy of ericsson.com are in line with its purpose. You will support the community in following editorial, concept and design guidelines, as well as ensuring best practices are applied to the overall web navigation and standards, supporting the entire customer journey.
To be successful, you need to interact with numerous other stakeholders. You will collaborate with web and digital teams to audit and identify ways to optimize web pages and related content to improve organic traffic, engagement and conversion. Together with the brand team you will drive reviews of ericsson.com and you will be a key player in the editorial planning.
You will be a key contributor to our taxonomy and tagging practice, drive efficiency and effectiveness across the content life cycle and support the web community in ways of working and knowledge sharing.
We often refer to this role as “the spider in the web” as it orchestrates, co-drives and manages several workflows and represents in forums, in cooperation with a wide range of people throughout the company.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience working with digital communication in a global organization or similar role
• Strong platform and tool experience in: Episerver, Google analytics, Marketo or equivalent
• Relentless passion for creating superior user experiences and strong customer journeys
• Strong knowledge of best-practice content design, structure and hierarchy
• Strong understanding of current SEO best practices
• Strong business understanding
Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:
• Ability to communicate at all levels of a global organization with strong presentation and writing skills
• Ability to work independently or part of team, managing multiple high-level tasks and complex projects at the same time
• Confidence to lead and drive projects / initiatives, as well as guiding colleagues and teams as necessary
• Strong networking skills to form fruitful working relationships
