Are you the one bringing the future of AI/ML/Analytics to our Packet Core products?
5G will not only enable higher data rates and provide features for connecting industries. It will also mean a shift towards a data driven network, with analytics support for handling and using the tremendous amount of data created in the mobile network. To support this transformation, we have formed a small team of data scientists to go in the forefront of the change. We are now looking for a data scientist to join the team.
Do you have depth of understanding of Machine Learning and AI technologies?
You will be part of a small team that will study future use of AI/Data Science in Packet Core, through:
- Applied research
- Proof of Concepts
- Pilot implementations within the Packet Core products
- Proposing and defining a strategy for how data science shall be used in Packet Core
You will need to have good programming skills and strong understanding of Data science and Machine Learning tools. You will work in a highly collaborative environment with top professionals to learn from. Your contribution will help to create new offerings in the areas of AI driven 4G and 5G network.
To be successful; one should have
- BS, MS, or PhD in Telecom Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- >2 years of real world or research experience in data science
- Statistics knowledge, e.g.: descriptive analysis and supervised and unsupervised analysis
- Programming skills in various languages with proficiency in Python
- Understanding of Machine Learning, e.g.: linear/logistics regression discriminant analysis, bagging, random forest, Bayesian model, SVM, neural networks, etc
- Knowledge and skills in the use of current state of the art data science frameworks such as Apache Spark, flink, scikit-learn etc.
- Comfortable with Linux.
- Excellent in team working.
- Curious, willing to learn and share knowledge.
- Good communication skills and open personality.
- Fluent in English.
You may have
- Knowledge of Packet Core is a big plus
- Knowledge in Mobile network architecture 4G/5G. Interfaces, protocols, functions is a plus
- Cloud native software stacks and execution environments: VMware, AWS, Swarm, Kubernetes, others.
