Job Summary

 

In the role of the Strategic Sourcing Manager you will strengthen Ericsson’s competitive position by maximizing supplier value, proactively managing business risks & contributing to the creation of value for the customer through efficient sourcing of products, services & solutions.

 

You will be responsible for evaluating, qualifying & selecting suppliers for the external purchase & licensing of all products & services either to be delivered to customers as part of Ericsson delivery or for internal use within Ericsson. You will work closely with other team members in Ericsson Nikola Tesla Group and be responsible for all commercial relationships with suppliers. 

 

 Strategic Sourcing Manager will be responsible for the following key priorities:

 

  • Ensure effective management of total spend; driving excellence in cost, supplier efficiency and quality in line with the profitability targets of the company
  • Drive supplier optimisation, cost improvements and other third-party related savings for our ongoing key projects
  • Ensure execution according to the company strategic sourcing process and requirements
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration with business stakeholders
  • Evaluate, qualify and select suppliers for the external purchase of all services to be delivered to our customer projects, in accordance with Ericsson sourcing policy and directives
  • Negotiate with suppliers, draft and set up supplier contracts and handle all commercial relationship with suppliers
  • Ensure supplier agreement implementation
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration with business stakeholders
     
     We are looking for someone with:
     
  • Passion for driving and delivering impactful changes within Ericsson ensuring that Sourcing is a real commercial partner within the business
  • At least 2 years of corporative experience in sourcing / purchasing department
  • Experience of dealing with senior stakeholders internally, excellent communication skills
  • Strong negotiation experience – either as a customer or a supplier
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a changing and dynamic business environment
  • University degree in Economics or Technology or equivalent experience
  • Preferable: experience in the Telco or IT sector within customer projects
  • Proficiency in English language
     
    Croatian citizenship or work permit for Croatia is needed. Candidates will be evaluated and contacted if they pass initial screening.
