Quality Engineer/ Coach

Ericsson in Lund is now looking for a Quality Engineer/Coach for Radio products. You will be working in different parts of the development flow and coach the development projects in securing a high-Quality product. In addition, you will actively participate in improving our product quality based on input from field reality.


This is a key role to secure quality from the development phase and thereby reduce TTM and gain customers’ trust in the quality of the Radio product portfolio.


This is a unique role to get a wide understanding of the Radio product in a customer Network, understanding the customers and being a driver in work with high business importance for PDU Radio.


You will get an opportunity to gain competence in the whole development flow and work in a network of expertise with a high attention from our stakeholders.


Responsibilities & Tasks

As a Quality Engineer you will support, advise and drive Quality work in the development projects. Drive continuous improvements of products and processes and cooperate with various interfaces within and outside PDU Radio and get an opportunity to grow your own network.


You will drive statistical and root cause analysis to support fact-based decisions and drive reliability predictions and improvements. As a Quality Engineer you will give feedback on customer experiences into our organization.


Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements

  • BSc level in a technical discipline or the equivalent level of knowledge
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
  • General Radio knowledge
  • General Technical understanding
  • General HW and SW knowledge
  • Fluent in English
  • Six Sigma knowledge

To be able to handle and operate stress, as well as being able to analyze and plan are very important. Having good coaching and mentoring skills are essential as well as good communication and presentation skills. As a coach you are good at sharing your knowledge and collaborate well with others.


We are looking for a person who have a genuine technical interest and a good system thinking with understanding for details and relations without losing the holistic view. Radio Software and Hardware competence is important for this role.
