Who we are

 

Board Power at Lindholmen develops power solutions for most of the Ericssons Radio, Transport and Baseband product portfolios, including 5G. Our power solutions range from a couple of mW up to kW with voltage levels from 0.6V to 60V.

 

Goal with master thesis

 

Wireless power transfer has been a hot topic for some time. IoT devices as well as Radio DOT units are possible candidates for wireless power transfer. This master thesis shall investigate the possibilities to power IoT devices and Radio DOT product wirelessly. A prototype showing of wireless power transfer shall be developed.

 

Working methods

 

Theoretical analysis, literature study, design and evaluation of hardware.

 

Qualification

 

Education: Master within Electrical engineering, Physics engineering or similar.

An eager interest in power products/area

English skills (fluid), both oral and written

Suitable for 1 or 2 students
