The impact of your role at Ericsson:

We are now looking for a new Manager for the Front Office within the Network Operations Centre (NOC) in Bucharest, are you interested? In this role, you will ensure customer value and happiness through an efficient and effective service delivery.

You will be the manager of the Front Office organisation leading a team of over 150 colleagues covering technology domains such as 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G RAN, Transmission, Core, IP and FTTH. You will be responsible for the delivery to multiple global Managed Service customers that are served by the NOC in Bucharest. This is a challenging role, with the need to deliver 24/7, 365 days a year, exceeding stretching targets. We are looking for someone who can develop the team to reach its full potential and delight our customers with outstanding service delivery quality.


You will also be someone who can implement change initiatives successfully. Automation, AI and ML are vital parts of the Front Office team now and you will be responsible for ensuring that we continue to improve our performance through maximizing the benefits of the Ericsson Managed Service Automation toolkit. We are also changing our ways of working and you will be responsible for implementing the next generation of Ericsson Managed Services, the Ericsson Operations Engine.

You will also:


  • Drive performance of the Front Office organisation ensuring SLA/KPI targets are achieved;

  • You will ensure effective and efficient service delivery execution through cooperation and collaboration;

  • Build a work environment where colleagues can speak up and take courageous fact based decisions;

  • Ensure your team has the right competencies to perform their job and are developing new skills to meet our customer demands, e.g. moving to 5G, developing Automation competence;

  • Look after unit financial performance within the Front Office, ensuring the team spending remains within budget;

  • Lead by example, showing empathy and humanness;

  • Be willing to take a calculated risk and execute speedily;

  • Develop culture of continuous improvement and a positive environment where colleagues can be innovative.


How your expertise will make the difference (Qualifications needed):


  • Education: Undergraduate degree;

  • Min years of experience: 5 years line management experience leading a team or department;

  • Domain experience: RAN, Transmission, Core, FTTH and IP;

  • Deep understanding of Telecoms delivery process, models, and strategy;

  • Telecoms market insight;

  • Excellent social and communication skills;

  • Financial acumen and skills;

  • Formulating strategies and concepts;

  • Adhering to principles and values;

  • Leading, supervising, and responding to change in a high pace environment.
