We are looking for a strong leader to lead, coach and develop a team of project managers in a global and diverse organization to support the business of our global customers; use efficient, effective and comprehensive project management solutions. This person will provide PMO governance and performance management, portfolio/program/project management, and strategic planning. This role will enable a culture of operational excellence, change management and innovation.
•Lead, coach and develop a team of professionals in a global, fast-paced and diverse organization.
•Empower project managers to own their roles and responsibilities, enabling a culture of operational excellence and innovation to improve internal and external customer experience.
•Leverage appropriate operational excellence analysis and standardization tools, to streamline project management processes and achieve best business solutions.
•Network and collaborate with Ericsson leaders and stakeholders to develop balanced, comprehensive, specific and executable project management objectives.
•Employ best practice project management methods to execute an efficient, transparent and straightforward process.
•Facilitate key stakeholder planning sessions through stakeholder identification, project analysis, business case development and charter creation while assuring champion and sponsor commitment.
•Lead and enable all aspects of project plan development, from key deliverables and tracking metrics identification to risk assessment and action planning – on through to schedule and resource planning.
•Lead and enable project governance process including status reporting, issue and risk identification and appropriate escalation; adjust plan and communicate status, forecasts and plan revisions as needed; maintain project dashboard.
•Lead project team to optimize performance of project solutions against chartered stakeholder needs and expectations.
•Apply advanced team development and change management methodologies for sustained progress.
•Develop and execute effective cross-functional communication plans.
•Ensure new lessons learned at existing project closeout are documented and apply historical lessons learned at new project planning.
•Key areas include PMO Governance and Performance Management, Portfolio/Program/Project Management and Strategic Planning.
•Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/IT/Telco Engineering from reputed university
•12+ years relevant experience of Project Management
•Project management leadership responsibility across multiple complex and strategic projects, experienced in leading a team in a multinational organization
•Proven use of project management and project governance tools, including MS Project
•Business management, experience handling Financial Project, Profit and Loss
•Excellent communication skills in all media, to support cross-functional and cross-regional teams/stakeholders
•Proven leadership behavior
•Knowledge of Ericsson tools and processes
•Fluent in English written and spoken
•A forward-thinking and open-minded approach
•Ability to adapt to change and be innovative
•Result oriented, analytical and proactive
•Strong ability to establish collaboration across organizations
