Job Summary:

 

    • To assist the Content Discovery Picture Desk team with researching and sourcing images for all relevant programmes presented on our clients’ platforms.
    • To manipulate images with Photoshop for size, shape, and quality.
    • To assess images for suitability and accuracy.
    • To alert the Picture Desk Production Manager of any difficulties or inconsistencies that may arise from such research.
    • To act as a point of contact for all enquiries related to the sourcing of images, and to undertake the maintenance of all records and systems relating to image collation.
    • To have a working knowledge of databases.
    • To have a basic understanding of international copyright regulations and to know when to seek further advice or clarification on any rights issue.
    • To have an awareness and an understanding of how to use press and publicity image sites and picture libraries.
    • To build and maintain contact lists and to be proactive in contacting clients and suppliers.
    • To have a basic understanding of metadata and use of images within electronic programme guides both for broadcast and online.
    • Ability to handle confidential information with tact and sensitivity.
    • To constantly strive towards continuous improvement in all of output/performance on a team and individual basis.
    • To participate fully in all appraisals, training and development, communication, and other processes in accordance with the standards and frameworks laid down by Ericsson.
    • As a member of EBMS, to positively deal with and promote change, accepting it as a way of life and treating it as "business as usual” activity.
    • In line with Client Relationship Strategy to ensure that working practices are organised in such a way that supports the business needs of the client.
