The Category Infrastructure SW is highly active and dynamic. The area is moving quickly both from technical and business eco systems point of view and as the Category Manager you need to develop an understanding of the supplier market including both existing and possible new suppliers that would make up the building blocks for virtualization and cloud deployments.
In this role, your contributions will be to define and drive the Category strategy, targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) and work to secure a Category Supplier base that supports Ericsson current & future business needs. The role includes tight coordination with business- and product stakeholders.
• You will develop, implement and drive Category Strategy
• You will identify and Perform business intelligence and benchmark
• Administer supplier base and supplier classification
• You will define Supplier targets and critical metrics
• Negotiate with Suppliers in the Category
• Create cost effective category solutions and business models
• You will optimize category performance
• Education: MSc, MBA or similar
• Minimum years of experience: 10 years of industry experience
• Domain experience: Virtualization, Cloud, containers, kubernetes, open source
