Senior Java Software Developer/Solution Architect
We are now looking for a Senior Java Software Developer/SA that will work initially on a programme delivering a Smart Metering provisioning & management solution to handle the millions of devices that will be deployed in the UK. You will contribute to the creation of customer solutions in an ADM environment where we use Agile tools and methods to deliver high-quality, complex solutions.
As a Software Developer/SA, you will be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle; working towards properly engineered information systems, containing software as the major component, to meet agreed business requirements. This opportunity involves a level of customer contact to refine requirements and agree solutions.
You are responsible for ensuring that the delivered software components provide the necessary functionality and quality and perform in accordance to the overall requirements and to the customer’s expectations. This opportunity is in our UK ADM DevOps organisation.
This is a hands-on role but will also involve supervising & mentoring junior developers on occasions and in working in small cross-functional teams.
