Engineer III - Svcs Sftwr
As a Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for providing 2nd line expert troubleshooting to offshore and field crew involving both Ericsson and 3rd party products. The key responsibilities include analyze, troubleshoot, verify and integrate a node, network and/or system. The Engineer will work closely with the geographically distributed team comprising of Integration Engineers, Implementation Managers, Project Managers, Product Solution and Customer.
The Engineer should be competent to handling constant change of scope and displaying leadership with respect to Ericsson resources as well as third party suppliers and subcontractors. As an experienced expert technical lead you will be placed at the center of activities, entailing a high level of interaction with Cross functional team in high stress and delivery environment.
• Education: Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in Telecom or IT engineering
• Experience: 5-7 years of experience in Telecom Sector
• Good knowledge and experience with Linux and command line
• Good experience with 3G and 4G networks integration for Ericsson and other equipment vendors
• In-depth knowledge of 3G/4G/5G network architecture and protocols
• Experience with Construction crew interaction and troubleshooting, including Radio, Baseband and workmanship analysis and resolutions
• Understanding of network performance and KPI's for optimal delivery
• Good experience with Shell scripting (Perl, Shell, Python or similar)
• Good knowledge of Reporting tools like Tableau
• The people skills required to work with fellow engineers, customers, lead a team and drive process improvement
• Ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines
• Delivering results & meeting customer expectations
