IoT COO Change driver (287639)


BTEB IoT is driving new business in the fast-growing area of Internet of Things (IoT). We are offering platform services for connectivity management, connected vehicles, monetization and security threat analytics and remediations. Our IoT platform is supporting more than 4000 enterprises globally across 100+ countries through our mobile network operator partners. The nature of the business is dominated by as-a-Service business models, translating enterprise and customer needs to scalable solutions and a rapid change as the market and our offerings evolve.


A key success factor for profitable scale in the IoT platform effort is an efficient operating model that maximize the output from our overall organisation from customer, sales, operations to development. The business has passed the initial growth phase and has reached a scale that requires an operating model securing long-term scale and a strong net present value of the business.


We are now looking for a change driver to drive deployment of an efficient & effective operating model for the IoT unit – translating strategic direction to business results. Initiate improvements and ensure progress with detailed and automated follow-up of objectives and key results. The improvements may be run in different ways: work streams in major strategic/transformation initiatives, projects/programs/line activities driving operational & functional improvements or enabling day-to-day/continuous improvements.



• Identify, and drive operating model improvements, based on customer and business needs

• Drive operating model improvements.

• Follow-up progress of improvement initiatives

• Drive automation of business operations


Key Qualifications:

• Education: A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, IT, Engineering or equivalent

• Solid experience in IoT and/or as-a-Service business models, including relevant data-driven strategy execution

• Solid experience from telecom or enterprise business

• Proven track-record of successful deployment of large organisational improvements

• Flexible in adapting & responding to change

• Structured and clear & precise in communication

• Ability to understand organisation and stakeholder needs and build change based on those


This role will be part of the IoT COO-office and report to the COO
