Job Summary:

 

We are now looking for a Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for the customers. In this role, you will also be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offerings, solutions and proposals.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Key technical RF Lead role responsible for leading team of senior RF engineers in a 4G/5G Network Rollout
  • Project point of contact for all RF Engineering technical queries, as well as driving resolution of complex technical issues
  • Reporting to Project Manager/Director and internal stakeholders to drive positive outcomes
  • Driving results for the customer, whilst exceeding and managing their expectations
  • Responsible for managing to allocated budgets
  • Analyze customer technology, define business requirements and participate in risk analysis
  • Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing 
  • Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to build customer competence

 

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

 

  • Minimum years of experience: 10 years+ in Telecommunications
  • Excellent understanding and relevant deep experience in RF Planning, Design, Tuning and Optimisation in WCDMA/LTE/5G networks.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Expert/Subject Matter Expert in large scale WCDMA/LTE/5G networks rollout, network capacity upgrades and/or network swap outs projects.
  • Strong understanding of Australian ACMA and EME regulatory regime and compliance requirements
  • Strong understanding of Australian spectrum allocation
  • Strong leadership skills and able to motivate and engage a team of senior engineers to deliver project outcomes
  • Experience and understanding in multi-vendor network interworking 
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong 3GPP knowledge
  • Experience in RF planning tools such as PLANET or ATOLL
  • Pre-sales, RFQ and RFP experience
  • Proven experience in delivering efficiency gains via tools and processes
  • Programming/Scripting skills for automation (highly regarded)
