Job Summary: 

As a Head of Communications for Ericsson in Thailand, you will have overall accountability for the external and internal communications activities for Ericsson in this important market.  

Responsibilities & Tasks

  • Develop and drive the external and internal communications agenda according to the needs of the Thailand market, in coordination with your manager, the regional Head of M&C; the regional M&C team; Ericsson Thailand leadership team stakeholders and global M&C interfaces
  • Build, manage, track and evaluate the media relations & PR strategy for Ericsson Thailand
  • Act as single point of contact for any local communications related matters, including acting as a strategic communications advisor to Head of Ericsson Thailand and the Ericsson Thailand Leadership team
  • Implement global employee programs while activating local prioritized employee programs
  • Project lead on local events (e.g. all employee meetings; industry events, owned events) in collaboration with regional M&C team members
  • Manage the local agencies (e.g. PR; Events) as required
  • Drive the specific social media plan for your market
  • Support issues management in coordination with regional and global stakeholders

  • Minimum Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • University degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or equivalent training/experience
  • 6+ years of related experience
  • Experience working in a global or regional team
  • Preferred Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Understanding of digital communications
