Strategic Sourcing Manager

Job Summary:

We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to strengthen Ericsson’s competitive position by maximizing cost reduction, proactively managing business risks, drive supplier’s value contribution, etc. with a purpose to creation value for the Customer. 

The SSM is accountable for evaluating, qualifying and selecting suppliers for the external purchase and licensing of all products and services: 1) to be delivered to Customers as part of or as an Ericsson product or service and 2) for internal use within Ericsson.

The Strategic Sourcing Manager is responsible for all commercial relationship with suppliers and with adequate interaction with sourcing at group side, internal stakeholders, such as supply chain, quality, and project managers, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

You will lead, prepare & execute the RFx process

You will evaluate and select suppliers

You will conduct supplier negotiation

You will be fully accountable for cost reduction with your responsible categories, with means of negotiation, multiple sourcing, and process tear down, etc.

You will ensure supplier agreement implementation

You will contribute to the long term business

You will be working for specific project leading with cooperation from internal stakeholders

You will be supporting for operating support in case of suppliers’ quality, delivery improvement

 

 

Education:

College degree or above, preferred to majored in mechanical engineering, electrical, telecommunications, and material science, etc.

Working experience: at least 5 years experience in sourcing at MNC or telecommunication field

Strategic mindset, self-motivated, team player, able to work independently under pressure

Acumen & knowledge on finance & law will be a plus
