The purpose of the Principle Consultant is to across MELA, support a number of Ericsson Customer Units (CUs) with knowledge and expertise, sales support and best practices on non-delegated products, primarily Orchestration. The Principle Consultant will help communicate our OSS strategy, support sales, push campaigns, support business development and proposal creation across the MA. This will be done through your expertise and experience of different best practices from across the MA and Ericsson globally.
The key responsibilities:
- You will work closely with CU’s and customers, communicating Ericsson’s technology strategy and vision
- You will support strategic initiatives and lead business development activities to support business growth
- You will look to provide targeted expertise, injecting best practices and conducting in-depth reviews of strategies and proposals
- You will lead and participate in the wider community of practitioners in sharing best practices, knowledge management, and harvesting and reuse.
To be suitable for this role you will ideally have a technical background in engineering or computer science. You must have a good technical competence when it comes to the understanding of the solution area portfolio and associated standards. Previous in-field experience of Ericsson products or similar is required. Good knowledge of the Ericsson organization and relationships within CUs and the Solution Area is preferred.
It is desired that you will have a strong understanding of operators fixed and mobile network architectures and impacts from NFV, SDN, Cloud and 5G.
