Job Description:

We are now looking for a Network Engineer that will be responsible for performing tuning and  optimization of a Radio access networks (RAN), Broadband access (BBA), Transmission, Core, Operational maintenance (OM) and Services Networks to meet customer requirements. You will be accountable for part of the solution and of the service process. Hereby, you should be able to keep time, performance and quality according to Ericsson requirements and customer contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing tuning and optimization of (RAN), (BBA), Transmission, Core, OM and Services Networks network to meet customer requirements
  • Engage in the pre-sales of services and networks
  • Identify add-on sales opportunities
  • You will assist in the development of a service proposal
  • Participate in knowledge sharing activities
  • You will collect and document customer requirements
  • Be an Ericsson Consultant and suggest suitable future OPEX/CAPEX investments that will benefit the customer networks

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree and preferred Masters, in Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in Network Tuning & Optimization in major markets in US
  • 7+ years’ experience of network deployment
  • Technical Expertise in LTE, UMTS and latest technologies – 5G, eRAN, LAA, CRAN / Small Cells.
  • Pre-Launch Tuning & Post launch Optimization experience
  • Good understanding of wireless physical layer detail knowledge
  • Good understanding of eNodeB configuration & operation
  • Experience with Ericsson Equipment & working knowledge of Ericsson ENM.
  • Both self-driven and able to work in teams
  • Consultative experience
  • Leading virtual teams

Additional Qualifications:

  • Lead experience working cross functionally with Customer and various business groups within company and global teams.
  • Knowledge of local OHS statutory regulations and group OHS requirements
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication skills
  • Data analytics expertise
  • Flexibility to Travel 50% within North America based on Project needs
  • Ability to Lead large teams
