As part of our 2019 programme, we are looking for an individual to join the Build team within the Design Planning and Deployment function. Our team is responsible for the planning and implementation of any changes on our customers network introducing upgrades and new technologies. We have a range of roles within the team ranging from Technical Support to End to End Delivery Management and have teams all over the UK and in India that support our customer contracts.
This role is to support the management of 3rd parties who secure the legal and planning rights to deploy telecom infrastructure with site providers and local authorities. The role will specifically support microwave radio deployments, supporting the acquisition lead in this area and reporting to the Head of Transmission Deployment.
Working with our teams the candidate will develop experience of applying their skills to real world scenarios across a multi-domain and stakeholder environment.
To be part of this journey you should:
Have completed or completing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Surveying, Planning and Real Estate degree similar covering property management, third party suppliers, civils/surveying, programme and project management.
Key behaviours we would require would be: planning and organisation, decision making, relationship management, follow up and monitoring, communication, negotiation and coaching skills., excellent spoken and written English language skills is a must.
We need a proactive, analytical and flexible approach to working. Individual will need to be self-motivated and confident to communicate and work with multiple stakeholders and suppliers and be able to challenge plans and data where necessary.
