Head of US Smart Factory

Our company, a standout performer within the Information, Communication & Technology industry, is seeking a highly skilled, high tech, experienced leader heading our brand new 5G Smart Factory. The chosen candidate will be building up the organization for the new production unit in the US. To be successful in the role you will need to collaborate with other functions, especially with product development units as well as sourcing and supply. In this role, you will report to the Head of Supply Americas for Business Area Networks Supply.

 

The Opportunity:

  • Build up and lead unit of US 5G Smart Factory
  • Lead and develop the employees within the department
  • Co-develop and implement strategies within Industry 4.0
  • Technical drive in the product dimension with peer functions as well as PDU and Sourcing
  • Identify possibilities for improvements and introduce new state-of-the-art production technology
  • Drive and implement digitalization cross operations and supply chain

  • Business and/or technical university degree
  • Track record of successfully leading teams
  • Well established network within Ericsson Supply, Product Development Units and Sourcing organizations
  • Technical skills in the product and production dimension
  • Track record of reaching results in a global organization with internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical and financial skills
  • Curious, courageous, service minded and have willingness to solve problems together with others

  • This position will be based at the U.S. Smart Factory. The location of the U.S. Smart Factory is to be determined.
