Software Systems & Technology Analyst (R&D) in the area of Deployment and life cycle management of our OSS SW

Do you demonstrate some of the following skills:

  • A capability to perform best in a team-setting – working in a multi-cultural & international environment brings the best out in you
  • A bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in software/electronic engineering or related science and technology discipline
  • 5+ years relevant Software Development experience
  •  
  • Ability to analyse and carry out proof of concepts to define technical solutions on how to deploy and Life Cycle manage our OSS software
  • An ability to drive technical discussions, analyse & explain technical requirements and problems, and steer new product development.
  • Knowledge of combining open-source and commercial technologies to build services/products that will have an impact on the business
  • Experience on how to deploy our OSS applications on cloud technologies (e.g. OpenStack, VMWare, AWS, Azure) & container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Experience in Data storage technologies such as SAN, NAS and Software Defined Storage.
  • Experience with data storage solutions (e.g. Elasticsearch, NEO4J, PostgreSQL) 
  • Understanding of Cloud & IP Networks in terms of NFV & SDN.
  •  
  • Familiarity with Network Management, Radio & Transport technologies and Mobile Core Networks
  • Familiarity with bodies like ETSI IETF and 3GPP , or Linux foundation projects ONOS or ONAP also an advantage
