Job Summary:

We are now looking for a logistics manager to execute, manage and deliver orders according to contractual requirements for all products and services.

The job role covers responsibilities within order execution for new deliveries, return and distribution. Also follow-up phases of delivery and return flows are executed. All to create an efficient execution of the Supply chain to optimize management and control in both order and return flows.

As part of a network rollout project, an effective HW supply chain is required to be established, the correct products must be available to complete a site within schedule and ensuring close just-in-time delivery (1-2 weeks in advance of planned installation) to minimise warehousing space.

This requires a tightly managed HW forecasting process to closely align site designs, requisite bills of materials (performed and provided by the customer) and delivery lead times (advised by Ericsson)

 

HW Inventory Ordering & Supply needs to be strictly controlled and co-ordinated. Key to ensure this is the integrity of the demand management and forecast process, the efficiency of the order and delivery process, the effectiveness of the stock control, the quality of the communication process between the customer, the HW BoM and Quantity Specifier function, and the HW Ordering & Supply Function in Ericsson.

 

The Ericsson HW & SW SPOC will coordinate HW & SW Orders and Supply, arrival and Customer Receipt signoff to/with/in the Customer Warehouse Service Provider.

 

The role includes, but is not limited to, the below tasks:

-        Receipt of HW Demand Planning & Forecasting from the customer

-        Completing HW Ordering CARTs and handshaking same with the (offshore) Project HW |SW Ordering SME

-        Tracking the ordered CARTs from placement to, in transit status, to arrival, to delivery to customer

-        Managing and publishing updated ordered HW arrival lead time table

-        Engaging with the customer HW warehouse operations function

-        Managing asset tracking (by serial number), site returns, and HW reconciliation
